I absolutely love my StandStandMouse. I use it every single day and can’t believe I worked for so many years without it. I ordered it because of an article I saw in the NYT about the health benefits of standing desks and the harms of sitting for long periods. The StandStand was the only decent sounding standing desk in my price range listed in the article, and I liked your video online as well.
My StandStandMouse is just the right size for doing paperwork like grading student papers, reading, and taking notes. It’s big enough to open up a folder or three-ring binder on top. Since I’ve been using it, I feel better at the end of the day and am able to get much more work done than I used to. Before, I would be limited by my “restless butt syndrome,” and I often had trouble concentrating after a few hours. Now I find myself able to work significantly longer hours comfortably and happily.
In fact, I am planning to order a second StandStandMouse for my office, since even though it’s portable, I use it so much that I think it will be worth having one in each location. The StandStand has changed my life. Thank you!!!
In fact, the only drawback is that my husband is constantly singing the old REM song “Stand” whenever he sees me using it, and so it’s constantly in my head. Small price to pay, though.
